The Munich Caledonians' Scottish Myths and Mythical Creatures

The Highland Experience

Whilst the way is not always clear ...
...This time it is!

on Sunday the 25th of September.

For those who want to walk up to Andechs:

Place: S-Bahn station Herrsching. Leaving: 11.20 am The walk up is about 1h30
Those who don't want to walk can either drive up to Andechs directly or take a bus or taxi.
We will then all meet up at the Andechser Bräustüberl at 13.00 (1 pm)

After a nice lunch together we have the possibility of doing a guided tour:
Tour A: Guided tour of the monastery church
Tour B: Historical walkabout of the monastery and its surroundings.

The guided tour (in German) is 6€ per person and takes about an hour.
However, we will only be able to do a guided tour if a minimum of 12 people subscribe for it.
As we have to book the guided tour and reserve a table in advance,
we would need your agreement via e-mail by September 11th 2016 at the very latest.

Please send an email to in which you tell us how many you will be;
whether you would like to take part in one of the guided tours and which would be your preference.
Those of you who want to wear their kilt or other Scottish apparel
are more than welcome to do so, after all it is a Highland Experience !
